Experts predict enterprise Java trends for 2006

LAS VEGAS — During the keynote at The ServerSide Symposium, a panel of industry experts discussed the current state of enterprise Java, as well as predicted future trends for this year. The discussion was lively, with the panelists often prompting the audience for feedback and opinions. Formicary's CTO Hani Suleiman was on the panel, and his prediction was that Java EE5 would land with a big splash in 2006, as vendors slowly release their implementations and developers realise the huge gains in usability that the new platform offers.
