Formicary marks 10 year anniversary with creation of new Chief Operating Office role

Greville Lucking promoted to Chief Operating Officer

London 16 March 2010 - Formicary, the provider of premier Systems Integration (SI) and software, has promoted Greville Lucking to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.  The creation of the role reflects the ongoing year-on-year growth that Formicary has experienced since its formation 10 years ago.

The new role will see Greville head up UK operations, ensuring that the company continues to bring innovative and sophisticated services and software to the financial services industry.

Greville comments, “The past 10 years has seen huge changes in the financial sector, with the last 12 months proving the most challenging.  As the financial sector emerges from the recession, many organisations are starting to re-assess their technology infrastructure.  Formicary’s decade-long experience within this sector means that the company is ideally placed to help organisations ensure that their systems are fully optimised with maximum return on investment.  We’re looking forward to the fresh challenges and opportunities that this will bring.”

Joseph Do, managing director, Formicary adds, “We’re delighted to be celebrating Formicary’s 10th year anniversary.  Formicary has continued to grow despite the financial downturn and Greville has played a key role in the company’s success. This new position has been created to strengthen Formicary’s operational structure in the UK and support the company as it expands geographically.”

Greville will take up the new role on 1 April 2010.
